An expert in innovation, industrial policies, business networks and technology clusters, Davide D’Arcangelo is Founder of the holding company Next4, where he is also Business Developer and Innovation Manager. He is also General secretary the Impatta business network, President of the Next Code Academy school, Development Manager and Head of External Relations and PNRR of the Fondazione Italia Digitale.
Born in 1976, he holds a degree in Law from the University of “Roma Tre”. During his professional experience he has gained specialized skills in supporting local authorities in the area of European funds. He recently joined the scientific committee of Fondazione Italia Digitale, the first in Italy devoted to digital policies at public and private level. Among his current activities, he is investor relator for important scale-ups such as Speri Ingegneria, AAtech and Termo S.p.A.
Davide D’Arcangelo is on the MISE (Ministry for the Economic Development) register of Innovation Managers and works as a digital consultant for many public bodies, including MEF (Ministry of Economy and Finance), Anci, IFEL and Confindustria. He also currently works in the Evaluation of Research Projects Team of the Lazio Region, in the national task force of Anip – Confindustria and is a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of Anci Lazio and of the IFEL Campania Training Camp.
A former Partner of “Iniziativa,” in the past he served on the Board of the Castel Romano Science Park, dealing with finance for innovation. For years he has also been involved in consulting activities for organizations and institutions, particularly in projects on industrial policies and territorial projects. Among the entities he has worked with are CCIAA Rome, Rome Metropolitan City, CNA Rome, Confcommercio Rome, Province of Frosinone and Municipality of Latina.
In the role of advisor he has worked with private firms such as Lucciola & Partners S.r.l. and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. He has also participated in research projects financed by Menarini S.p.A., IBM S.p.A., Novamont S.p.A, Luiss Business School, IBI-Lorenzini S.p.A., IRCSS San Raffaele, Noovle S.p.A., Giomi S.p.A., Sigma Tau S.p.A. and Corden Pharma S.p.A.
In the academic and publishing field, Davide D’Arcangeloworks with the University “La Sapienza” of Rome (Faculty of Economics and Business Management), where he is the author of numerous articles, research and published studies on industrial policies. At the 2019 “Eccellenze del Made in Italy” event, he was honored at the Chamber of Deputies for his expertise in industrial policy. In 2020 he wrote with Angelo Paletta “Minibonds. Private and public companies can source debt liquidity by issuing bonds to be listed on the Italian Stock Exchange as a complementary solution to traditional bank debt in the post-coronavirus era” published by Edusc in the Management & ethical finance series.
