
Turin is the capital of digital thanks to the Festival Digitale Popolare: an event full of guests and topics, dedicated to digital culture and policy, took place from 7 to 9 October in the Piedmontese capital Among the speakers at the event organised by the Fondazione Italia Digitale with the patronage of the City of Turin, was Davide D’Arcangelo, Co-Founder of Next4, Vice-President of Impatta and Head of Development at the Fondazione Italia Digitale.
The three-day event took place in La Centrale Nuvola Lavazza and the premises of CAP 10100 and featured talks, workshops and seminars, all focusing on topics revolving around digital. Various sectors were touched upon, from PA to schools, from sport to culture, from tourism to gaming, and on to sustainability, economics and health.
Davide D’Arcangelo spoke during the opening day on Friday 7 October in the segment ‘Digital and Innovative Enterprise’ Pierluigi Sassi, Co-Founder of Next4 and President of Impatta and Earth Day Italia, on the other hand, participated in the ‘Blue&Green Revolution’ session on Sunday 9 October. Alongside them were many guests from the most diverse sectors: experts from the digital sector, academics, institutional figures and other leading figures from the world of culture, sport and entertainment enriched the event. Among them, just to name a few, the cartoonist and TV author Makkox, the actress and sports executive Cristiana Capotondi, and the epidemiologist Gianni Rezza came to Turin. With music and the free flow of ideas, digital was at the centre of a unique event in Italy.
